How we thank people who take part - New Zealand Income Support Survey
We really appreciate the time and information people give us when they do take part.
As a koha or thank you for taking part, everyone who takes part receives a $30 gift card.
And everyone is given a thank you card. The card provides information on how respondents can get the findings from the survey when they are ready.
The card also gives a list of organisations, helplines and websites that people can seek advice and information from, including organisations that provide benefit advocacy services.
People are also given an income support booklet. This has brief details of eligibility criteria for the income support payments discussed in the interview and how to apply for them through MSD and Inland Revenue.
It also includes a list of community organisations with income support expertise if people want independent advice on income support.
If you are thinking about whether to take part, we encourage you to take the next step and get in touch with the friendly interviewing team at CBG Public Sector Surveying.
If you take part, what you have to say about your situation and experiences will help the Ministry of Social Development and Inland Revenue plan changes to improve the income support system.
Even if you do not benefit directly from any changes, the changes may make a positive difference to other people and other families and whānau.
We hope you take part and have your say.
