Partnerships and Programmes
The Partnerships and Programmes team focuses on building strong and resilient communities utilising a range of prevention and community development approaches which lead to sustainable and long term outcomes for whānau, communities and whole of populations.
We do this by strategically partnering. We also partner to support New Zealanders by ensuring services and programmes are accessible and available to them.
The General Manager of Partnerships and Programmes is Manaia King (pictured).
There are three teams:
Te Roopu Mana Manaaki – Partnering for Whanau and Communities Team
This team focuses on preventing family violence by partnering with whānau, hapū, iwi, communities, leaders, champions, and key organisations. We use prevention approaches that focus on building protective factors which increase resilience, build communities, and changes attitudes and behaviours.
Partnerships and Services Team
Partners with a range of key organisations, sectors and industry’s to ensure that, programmes, services and products are available to support New Zealanders.
Health and Disability Principal Advisors Team
Partners with the health and disability sectors, champions and leaders to ensure that our services and programmes are inclusive and accessible.
Partnering with Iwi/ Maori Team (Post Treaty Settlements Team)
Partners with iwi/ Māori to support the achievement of post settlement commitments that are aimed at social wellbeing outcomes for Māori.
