Total Money Management

Total Money Management (TMM) is an intensive service where an organisation takes full or partial control of a client's finances, to help them manage their budget. It is often used as a last resort to support people with complex financial needs.

MSD does not fund TMM.

While we have no formal role to support these services, we want to support providers to manage risk and stay safe.

MSD have developed a TMM factsheet to provide guidance for providers of TMM or TMM-like services. The factsheet highlights legal obligations when providing TMM, links to relevant legislation and suggests where to go for further advice.
