Vote for Love Better - showing our support by 17 April

Love Better has been nominated for a leading international award honouring excellence on the internet. One of the nominations is for the People’s Voice Award — and anyone in the world can place a vote. We’re encouraging people to visit the Webby Awards website Webby Awards People’s Voice to show their support and vote for Love Better!

We launched Love Better, a social marketing campaign for young people, in 2023. It generated interest from around the world for its unique and groundbreaking response to the prevention of relationship violence. The campaign has reached over 95% of its intended audience through its diverse social and media channels and it’s been the winner of 27 domestic and international awards, including the Spirit of Service – Innovation award.

The campaign website launched in 2024. It has broken with tradition, like the rest of the campaign, resulting in a highly interactive, ever-changing site that young people can personalise to suit their own style.

The website is one of five that has been shortlisted for two awards (The Webby Award and the Webby Award People’s Voice, Government category) from 13,000 nominations across the globe.

The Ministry of Social Development have had some incredible people working alongside us to develop the campaign and website. The team at Voyage and Not Another were responsible for the design and build of the website. We appreciate their and many others’ contributions to the campaign and its successes.

We need your vote – please visit the Webby Awards Website Webby Awards People’s Voice and show your support before 17 April!
