Cabinet has agreed to permanently extend the exemption from income and cash-asset tests for social assistance applying to financial gifts and donations made to people affected by the Christchurch mosques attacks. This decision reflects the unprecedented nature of the attacks, and the exceptional circumstances of those affected.
