The Ministry has a significant inventory of research reports that were not published at the time of completion.
In the interests of transparency and to help build the body of evidence on social issues, we are publicly releasing these reports. We will be adding material to these pages in response to demand and as resources permit.
Reports are grouped into broad subject areas:
Research looking at aspects of case management.
Research looking at employment assistance programmes and services.
Research looking at how financial incentives can influence behaviour in relation to benefits.
Research looking at aspects of income support policies.
Research looking at a range of social issues and addressing policies, programmes and services that affect New Zealanders.
Research reports looking at the effectiveness and impact of work obligations on people.
