Ethnic Communities Innovation Fund
The Ethnic Communities Innovation Fund (ECIF) supports organisations across Aotearoa New Zealand to prevent family and sexual violence in ethnically diverse communities. Please note that we use the Ministry for Ethnic Community's definition to describe ‘ethnic communities'.
ECIF aims to promote the safety and wellbeing of ethnically diverse people by supporting community-driven initiatives for preventing family and sexual violence. The fund supports ethnic communities to develop and deliver solutions and activities for safe, healthy, and diverse ethnic families and communities.
ECIF also offers opportunities to pilot a range of family and sexual violence prevention approaches and activities with ethnic communities across Aotearoa. This will grow the evidence base of what works to support the safety and wellbeing of ethnically diverse people.
The ECIF is a time-limited, one-off funding opportunity for 12 months.
Ethnic Communities Innovation Fund is now closed for application.
