Additional reporting for agencies in response to the Independent Children's Monitor's reports: Approval for amendment to the Oversight of Oranga Tamariki System Legislation Amendment Bill

This paper sought agreement to amend the Oversight of Oranga Tamariki System Act 2022 (Oversight Act) through the Oversight of Oranga Tamariki System Legislation Amendment Bill (the Oversight Bill) to strengthen accountability and compliance of agencies who are subject to the Independent Children's Monitor's (the Monitor) annual reporting on compliance with the Oranga Tamariki (National Care Standards and Related Matters) Regulations 2018 (NCS Regulations).
