Changes to Income and Cash Assets Tests – Methamphetamine Contamination Recovery

Cabinet has agreed to amend the Social Security Regulations 2018 and the Residential Care and Disability Support Services Regulations 2018 to exempt refund payments related to debt incurred due to former zero-tolerance methamphetamine contamination policies from income and cash asset tests for social assistance.
