In March 2019, the Cabinet Social Wellbeing Committee agreed to the release of the draft strategy for New Zealand’s ageing population for a second phase of public consultation.
Officials have worked to refine the strategy based on feedback from submissions and on-going cross-agency engagement.
The proactive release of the Cabinet paper and related documents help to show how the strategy has been developed and refined.
