Single Living Alone Rates Amendment - Ministerial Direction 2020

The Minister for Social Development has signed an instrument that amends the current definition of house or flat in the existing Ministerial Direction- Single Living Alone Rates.
This instrument comes into force on 9 November 2020.
It includes residences with a sink with a tap connected to an adequate supply of water whether or not it is in the kitchen.
It also inserts a new clause on the meaning of a mobile home and provides guidance on what it means for a mobile home to be sufficiently self-contained.
