Child Protection Policy 2023

The policy is designed to protect the safety and promote the wellbeing of all children (tamariki/mokopuna), including disabled children, who receive services - or associated with adults receiving services - from the Ministry of Social Development (MSD).

It applies to all MSD staff, and it helps them to respond appropriately when child abuse or neglect is suspected/identified.
