Strategic Planning Framework
To support individual recovery and community wellbeing, and to build community resilience following the 2010 Canterbury and 2011 Christchurch earthquakes
The Strategic Planning Framework assists those responsible for planning the psychosocial response to the earthquakes in Canterbury and Christchurch City.
It provides information, advice and guidance on the key factors which need to be considered when developing a psychosocial recovery plan.
The Framework’s intention is to provide an overarching context to assist the development of regional operational plans.
This Framework was developed by the National Psychosocial Response Subgroup with the support of the Psychosocial Recovery Advisory Group, established to provide advice on the development of the psychosocial response.
The Framework will be reviewed and revised, as necessary, to ensure that it remains useful as the recovery progresses.
