Emergency Housing Deep Dive Report - July 2024

The target to reduce the number of households in emergency housing by 75 percent by 2030 was announced in April 2024, and a range of policy and operational changes have been introduced to support reducing the reliance on emergency housing. This report summarises our current understanding of factors contributing to the decrease in emergency housing throughout 2024 based on data analysis, including trends for entries, exits, and where people go after they leave emergency housing.
