MSD’s targets – quarterly report to June 2024

In April 2024, the Government announced nine targets for Government agencies.
The two targets that MSD leads are:
- to reduce the number of people receiving Jobseeker Support by 50,000 to 140,000 by 2030, and
- (alongside HUD) to reduce the number of households in emergency housing by 75 percent, by 2030 – this is fewer than 800 households in emergency housing.
