Investigations and assessments

When Child, Youth and Family received a report of concern, a social worker determined if further action was required and what was needed to happen to keep the child or young person safe. Not all reports of concern received by Child, Youth and Family resulted in further action as it might have become evident early in the process that there were no issues warranting statutory intervention. Cases requiring no further action might have received other support.
