OSCAR Programmes: Evaluation of the Ministry of Social Development’s Package of Assistance

This report presents the findings and conclusions from an evaluation of the Ministry of Social Development’s package of assistance to Out-of-School Care and Recreation (OSCAR) programmes. The evaluation found that the package has had a positive impact on the stability of OSCAR programmes/providers. The use of the Assistance Grant has worked as an incentive to encourage providers to gain approval from CYF.
