Case management and importance of caseload size
2012 | ISBN 978-0-9951240-0-4
This evidence brief examines the importance of case management caseload size for increasing work participation of those with ill health or disabilities. Overall, the impact of case management as an activity in itself is difficult to isolate.
There is mixed evidence on the effectiveness of case management as a means of moving benefit recipients with health and disability problems into work.
Literature review on caseload size in best practice case management
2011 | ISBN 978-0-9951240-1-1
This evidence brief reviews international literature to determine the optimal caseload size in best practice case management for social services targeting at-risk young adults.
Findings suggest that the optimal caseload size for case managers/youth workers is largely based on the intensity of services provided to clients rather than type of services.
